ek din fursat ne, thaame haath hamare,
le gayi us dagar pe, jahan rehti hain baharein.
chal diye hum bhi ghar se, ho ke kuch bekhabar se,
dil tha apne bharose, hum the dil ke sahare.
raah me mod aaya, roshni ho gayi kam,
kuch dil ghabraya, ye kahan aa gaye hum
aage us mod ke bhi to baharein nahi thi
bhooli kuch khwahishein aur, khwab the bas hamare.
bewajah lag rahi thi, jab talash hamari,
ek khushbu uthi aur rut badal gayi saari,
saamne tum khade the, faila ke baahen
jaise har dard mera khud me loge samaye
pal bada mukhtasar tha, tere seene pe sar tha,
yun laga mar na jayen itni khushiyon ke mare.

....shayad ye har insaan ka sapna hota hai ki koi aisa uski zindagi me aaye jo na sirf use khush rakhe balki uske aansu baantne se bhi na katraye. aise hi jazbaaton ko samne lata hai ye gana. ek lambe intejaar ke baad aayi hui khushi aur us khushi se chalke hue aansuon ki jhalak hai is gaane me..
